SLOVENIA
This neighborhood country is even smaller but it still has some of the most beautiful mountains, rivers and lakes in Europe. The best way to see them is by bike – you will be pedaling through lovely river valleys and see fascinating natural and cultural sights. Beside that you will be able to experience all kinds of other adventure activities – river rafting, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, climbing, canyoning, caving, paragliding…

Slovenians are crazy about outdoor sports of all kinds and the country really offers plenty.
An interesting experience is to travel for a week in each of these two countries. Tour the Alps in one week and islands of the Adriatic in another. Although these two counties were until early nineties joined in one, you will see a lot of differences in the way these peoples live. The changes in nature and landscapes are drastic when one travels from North to South. The distance is small as well as the difference in altitude but along Croatian coast flowers, trees and even most animals are very different. And the character of the rivers is no exception either.
