DEPOSIT AND BOOKING
A deposit of $350.00 plus $271.00 insurance (optional) payable to Adriatic Pilgrimages is required per person at the time of booking, but not later than March 21, 2008. Balance is due 90 days prior to departure. Less than 90 days booking, full payment is required, plus $100 late fee surcharge.

All prices quoted in this flyer are based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect January 2007 and on group rates of 32 passengers or more. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.
Please complete the booking form with full names as they appear on passports, and mail it to us with your deposit of $350 per person plus insurance $271 (optional). * 30-1 day prior to departure date or no show – No Refund.

Arrival Vienna at 10:00am where we will be greeted by our guide. A visit to beautiful Schonbrunn Palace and its gardens. Afterwards to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

VIENNA/SALZBURG

This morning we will enjoy Vienna as we visit the “City of Waltz”. and one of Europe’s lovliest cities. We begin our tour of the old town, walking through the University, the Opera House, Hofburg Palace, Donner Fountain, Spanish Riding School, and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. In the afternoon we drive to Melk for a visit of the Abbey and then to Salzburg.

SALZBURG/MARIA PLAIN

Our walking tour of Salzburg will include the famous Cathedral, pedestrian street, Peter’s Abbey, and passing by Mozart’s birthplace and on to Mirabell Gardens where the famous movie “Sound of Music” was pictured. On to the shrine of Maria Plain, one of the most important Marian shrines in Austria.

SALZBURG/MUNICH

Today we depart Salzburg and drive to Altotting to visit the shrine to Our Lady in the beautiful surroundings of Bavaria. We continue to Marktl, home town of Pope Benedict XVI. In the afternoon we drive to Regensburg. Regensburg is one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Germany, nestled on the Danube river. Visit the town’s alleyways, market square and the Cathedral. Continue to Munich.

WIESKIRCHE/NEUSCHWANSTEIN/ MUNICH

We start the day with an excursion to Wieskirche and from there to King Ludwig’s Cinderella-style Castle. We will have a guided tour of the complex before returning to Munich. The rest of the day at leisure for personal visits to the town hall, the cathedral and the market place.

MUNICH/ROTHENBURG

Depart this morning to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Afternoon guided tour of this small town visiting the Gothic church of St. James, the Twelve Apostles altar by Friedrich Herlin. Then the Plonlein square near the Kobolzell Gate, the town’s most famous landmark and one of the prettiest and most photographed spots. We spend the night in Rothenburg.

This morning we drive to Cologne for a visit of the Cathedral, where Pope Benedict XVI used to pray and from there to our hotel in the town of Bruges.

BRUGES

Our guided tour of Bruges includes the belfry, Begijnenhof, Onze Lieve Vrouwe Kerk (Church of Our Lady) with the famous statue of the Madonna and child by Michelangelo, the market square, the town hall and the Basilica of the Holy Blood. In the afternoon we will take a boat ride on the canals.

BRUGES/CAEN

After breakfast we take our motor coach and drive to Ghent for a guided tour of the city. Visit the City Hall, Castle of the Counts (interior), belfry, Saint Nicholas Church with its unique gothic design, and St. Bavo’s Cathedral with its crypt. In the afternoon we depart to Caen.

CAEN/MONT SAINT MICHEL/ PARIS

Today we drive to the island town of Mont Saint Michel with its picturesque streets and abbey. Mont Saint Michel is a shrine representing some of Catholicism’s greatest artistic achievements. We will have a guided tour of the abbey and the museum before continuing on to Paris.

PARIS/LISIEUX/PARIS

In the morning we drive to the town of Lisieux, the home of St. Therese whom Pope Pius X called “the greatest saint of modern times”. Visit the places associated with St. Therese, the family home (Les Buissonets), the Carmelite convent and the Basilica. Return to our hotel in Paris.

PARIS/VERSAILLES

This morning we visit the “City of Lights” focusing on the Cathedral of Notre Dame, St. Vincent de Paul Chapel, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, and a drive through the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and stop at the Eiffel Tower for pictures. In the afternoon a visit to the Palace of Versailles.
