All prices quoted in this flyer are based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect January 2007 and on group rates of 32 passengers or more. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.

* 30-1 day prior to departure date or no show – No Refund.

BARCELONA/MONTSERRAT

Arrive Barcelona at 9:15 where we will be welcomed by our tour escort and motor coach driver. We will enjoy a city sightseeing of Barcelona with a walk in the elegant Las Ramblas Blvd., the medieval center of the city around the Cathedral, then to Segrada Familia and the Mercat St. Josep, a very famous food market. Continue to Montserrat.

MONTSERRAT/LOURDES

This morning we visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat to see the Monastery and the Statue of Our Lady and the cave where tradition says the statue was found. In the afternoon, we continue to Lourdes. After dinner, join pilgrims from around the world in the nightly rosary and candlelight procession.

LOURDES

150th anniversary of the apparitions
Today we visit the places associated with St. Bernadette, the visionary child of Lourdes. We start at the Grotto of the apparitions and continue on a walking tour visiting the Basilica of Pius X, Boly Mill, and the Soubirous family home, the Basilica of the Rosary and the miraculous springs and healing baths. After dinner join pilgrims in the nightly rosary and candlelight procession.

LOURDES/TGV

Transfer to the Lourde3s train station and board the TGV to Paris. Arrive Paris and enjoy a panoramic tour of the city, focusing on the Cathedral of Notre Dame, St. Vincent de Paul Chapel, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Chapel and a drive through the Champs Elysees, Arc De Triomphe and a stop at the Eiffel Tower for pictures.

PARIS/LUCERNE

Today we say goodbye to Paris and drive towards Switzerland. We arrive at the beautiful city of Lucerne where we will have a walking tour of the most interesting sites including Chapel Bridge and Water Tower (city’s most famous landmark), then St. Leodegar Church, patron saint of Lucerne.

LUCERNE/PADUA

We take our motor coach and enjoy the scenes of Switzerland until we reach Italy. Arrive Padua, the home of St. Anthony, patron saint of things lost. Visit the richly decorated tomb inside the Basilica that contains the remains of the beloved miracle-worker.

PADUA/VENICE/PISA/FLORENCE

This morning we begin with a guided half-day city tour in Venice to visit the Golden Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sights, St. Mark’s Square and the Doges’ Palace (from outside). Some time at leisure to explore Venice on our own and perhaps take an optional gondola ride. Return to our and drive towards Pisa to visit the center and the Leaning Tower before we continue to our hotel near Florence.

FLORENCE

We will spend the day in Florence, the splendid capital of Tuscany. Our guided tour includes visits to the magnificent Santa Maria Del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery’s heavy bronze “Gate of Paradise”, and sculpture studded Signoria Square. We will have time to browse through the shops in Piazza Santa Croce before returning back to our hotel.

FLORNECE/ASSISI

We drive to Assisi to explore the hilltop birthplace of St. Francis. In the crypt of St. Francis Basilica lies the tomb of one of the most beloved saints of all time, St. Francis of Assisi. See the Basilica of St. Clare, the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels and the Porziuncola (located on the lower part of Assisi).

ASSISI/LANCIANO/SAN GIOVANNTI ROTONDO

Today we motor south along the Adriatic Sea to Lanciano. The holy miracle of Lanciano resides in the Sanctuary of the Eucharistic Miracle near the Plebiscito (the main square of Lanciano where the Cathedral is located). Later in the afternoon we drive to San Giovanni Rotondo.

SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO/MONTE SANT’ ANGELO/POMPEII

This morning we see the places associated with Saint Pio. Visit the shrine of Our Lady of Grace that houses the tomb of Saint Pio. See his room and confessional and the Crucifix from which Saint Pio received the stigmata. Later, visit the Grotto of Michael the Archangel in Monte Sant’Angelo. Six different Popes have knelt in prayer here seeking the protection of St. Michael. Continue to Pompeii.

POMPEII/MONTE CASSINO/ROME

This morning we visit the historical center of Pompeii with the beautiful Cathedral. Then we tour the ancient ruins including the temples of Apollo, Jupiter and the forum, the commercial district and a Pompeii Bakery. Continue to Monte Cassino, a beautiful town founded by St. Benedict in 529. Then continue to Rome.

ROME/VATICAN/BASILICAS

This morning we visit the heart, home, and spiritual capital for over one billion Catholics around the world. St. Peter’s Basilica offers the devout pilgrim an experience never to be forgotten. Visit the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel to admire the works of Michelangelo. Continue to the other Basilicas of Rome: St. Mary Major, and St. John Lateran.

PAPAL AUDIENCE/ROME

Transfer to the Vatican City to join pilgrims from around the world for an audience with his holiness Pope Benedict XVI (subject to the Holy Father health and schedule). Following the audience, we visit the crypt of Pope John Paul II. The rest of the day at leisure for shopping and enjoy Rome on our own.
