DEPOSIT AND BOOKING
A deposit of $350 plus $185 insurance (optional) payable to Adriatic Pilgrimages is required per person at the time of booking, but not later than May 15, 2008. Balance is due on or before June 15, 2008. Any booking after June 16, 2008 is subject to availability and additional charge will apply. No credit cards.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All prices quoted in this flyer are based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect January 2007 and on group rates of 32 passengers or more. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.
Please complete the booking form with full names as they appear on passports, and mail it to us with your deposit of $350 per person plus insurance $271 (optional). Receipt of your deposit shall act as your agreement to the terms and conditions herewith. Balance is due 90 days before departure date.

* 120 days or more before departure $25 pp;
* 119-91 days before departure $250 pp;
* 90-61 days prior to departure date $500pp;
* 60-46 days prior to departure date $750pp;
* 45-31 days prior to departure date $1,500 pp;
* 30-1 day prior to departure date or no show – No Refund.

From September 15-25 (11 glorious days) we will be visiting the shrines of Fatima, Santiago de Compostela, Zaragoza, Avila and Lourdes, which will be celebrating the 150th Anniversary of our Lady’s appearance to St. Bernadette. LISBON/FATIMA

Arrive Lisbon Airport in the afternoon. After checking through immigration, please proceed to the exit door and meet your tour escort for a short panoramic tour of Lisbon including the Basilica. Arrive Fatima in the evening. After dinner join pilgrims from around the world in the nightly Candle and Rosary Procession.

FATIMA/NAZARE

We spend the day in and around Fatima. In the Cova da Iria, we visit the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica with the tombs of Francisco and Jacinta and Monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In Aljustrel and Valinhos, we see the two homes of the little shepherds, Stations of the Cross, site of the first and third visit of the “Angel of Peace”, site of our Lady’s fourth apparition. We stop at the Parish Church and the cemetery where Francisco and Jacinta were once buried. We drive for a visit of the beautiful Nazare before returning to our hotel for dinner. After dinner we join pilgrims from around the world in the nightly rosary and candlelight procession.

FATIMA/COIMBRA/SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Depart Fatima and drive towards Spain. We stop in Coimbra for a short visit of the Convent and the Church, and from there viewing the city of Coimbra. Continue to Santiago de Compostela late in the afternoon. Santiago de Compostela was the most popular pilgrimage destination outside of Rome and Jerusalem during the middle ages.

SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

We will spend the day in Santiago in religious activities at the Cathedral where the relics of St. James the Apostle are enshrined in the crypt located below the high altar. Attend the pilgrim’s mass and participate in religious activities, enjoying at the same time, the old city with its many historical buildings.

SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA/SANTANDER

This morning we continue our drive in Spain. We stop in Santander the beautiful town on the ocean to rest on our way to Lourdes.

SANTANDER/LOURDES

We continue our drive in scenic Spain and then cross the borders into France. Arrive Lourdes in late afternoon. This evening, after dinner, we will join pilgrims in the nightly candlelight and rosary procession.

LOURDES

During our stay in Lourdes, we will visit the historic and spiritual sites associated with Bernadette, the visionary child of Lourdes. We begin at the Grotto of the Apparitions, and then continue on a guided walking tour visiting the Basilica of St. Pius X, Boly Mill, Soubirous family home, the Basilica of the Rosary, Miraculous Spring and the healing baths. After dinner join pilgrims from around the world in the nightly rosary and candlelight procession.

LOURDES/ZARAGOZA/MADRID

This morning we say goodbye to Our Lady of Lourdes and take out motor coach and drive towards Spain. Arrive Zaragoza and visit the Shrine of Our Lady of the Pillar, the second most popular pilgrimage site in Spain. Visit the magnificent altar in the Basilica, built on the site where the Blessed Virgin appeared to the Apostle James. We see the Chapel of the Virgin, Assumption of the Virgin marble statue and other numerous chapels and artworks inside the Basilica. Continue to Madrid.

AVILA/MADRID

This morning we will have a panoramic tour of the city of Madrid including Calle de San Bernardo, Plaza de Espana, Casa de Campo, the Royal Palace and Gardens, Puerta Del Sol and the impressive Puerta de Alcala. Then to Avila. We walk the narrow cobblestone streets of the city as we trace the life of St. Teresa of Avila. Visit the Monastery of incarnation, St. Teresa’s cell and the see the relics of St. Teresa and St. John of the Cross, at the convent of St. Teresa. Return to our hotel in Madrid.

MADRID/LOS ANGELES
Transfer to Madrid Airport to take our flights back to Los Angeles. Arrive Los Angeles at 6:20pm.
