Arrive Cairo Airport at 10:35AM where we will be welcomed to Egypt by our representative. Transfer to the hotel for rest and then visit the amazing Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.

OLD CAIRO/CHURCHES
After late breakfast, we take our motor coach to Cairo, visiting the famous Citadel of Saladdin, Mohammed Ali Mosque and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Then to Old Cairo, visiting the Hanging Church, the Coptic Museum and Abu Serga Church. Later, visit the Church of St. Mary in Zeitoun, where many people witnessed the miraculous apparition of the Blessed Mother. We will have time for shopping before returning back to the hotel to get ready for our dinner on the Nile River Cruise.

CAIRO/SINAI
Today, after breakfast and some time at leisure, we will stop at the Sadat Memorial before we depart Cairo and drive by the Suez Canal and the desert landscapes of the Sinai Peninsula. We will stop at some oasis and water wells before we continue to our lodging near St. Catherine Monastery.

MT SINAI/ST. CATHERINE/RED SEA/JORDAN
A wake-up call at 2:00am for those who wish to make the four-hour climb to the top of Mount Sinai, which is believed to be the location where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Down to the famous St. Catherine’s Monastery, built in the sixth century to protect what was believed to be the Burning Bush. Later we drive to take our ferry boat on the Red Sea. Arrive Aqaba and by bus to Petra.

PETRA/AMMAN
A most unforgettable day in Petra! Our visit of the “rose-red” city begins at the “Siq”, a winding canyon road. At the end of the passage, we will see Petra’s most beautiful monument – The Treasury. We will discover temples, royal tombs, a theater and water channels. In the afternoon drive to Amman, the Capital of Jordan.

MADABA/MOUNT NEBO/RIVER JORDAN
Drive to Madaba and visit the Church, home to a beautiful 6th century mosaic map of the Holy Land. From the summit of Mount Nebo view the “Promised Land” and then see the newly discovered ruins of Bethany and the baptismal site on the River Jordan. We see the Dead Sea before returning to Amman.

SEA OF GALILEE/MOUNT BEATITUDES/TABGHA/BOAT RIDE/RIVER JORDAN
Today we explore the sites along the Sea of Galilee. Capernaum where Jesus preached in the Synagogue, St. Peter’s House, Mount Beatitudes and Tabgha, where Jesus multiplied the loaves of bread and fish, the baptismal site on the River Jordan and an enjoyable boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

CANA/NAZARETH/HAIFA/CAESAREA/JERUSALEM
This morning we visit Cana, where Jesus performed His first public miracle and the place where we renew our marriage vows. Then to Nazareth, visiting the Church of the Annunciation, the Church of St. Joseph and Mary’s Well. On to Haifa and Mount Carmel to visit Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery and Church. We stop in Caesarea to see the Roman aqueduct before continuing to Jerusalem.

MT. OF OLIVES/GETHSEMANE/BETHLEHEM/EIN KAREM
We start our day with the Mount of Olives, Church of Pater Noster, down to Dominus Flevit and St. Mary Magdalene Church, Garden of Gethsemane and on to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, Holy Manger, the Basilica of St. Catherine, the Milk Grotto and then the Shepherds’ Field. On the way back to Jerusalem, we stop in Ein Karem to visit the Church of the Visitation.

JERUSALEM/OLD CITY/MOUNT ZION
Early morning transfer to the Old City to walk the Way of the Cross as a group from the first station until we enter the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit Golgotha and the empty tomb of Our Lord. Back to the hotel for breakfast and later we return to the Old City and walk through the Cardo to the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock. On Mount Zion, we visit the Room of the Last Supper, the House of Caiaphas and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu.

BETHANY/JERICHO/QUMRAN/DEAD SEA
In the morning we visit Bethany, the traditional site of the House of Mary and Martha, and Lazarus tomb. Then down to Jericho to view the Mount of Temptation and see the ruins of ancient Jericho. In the afternoon, drive to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and then we stop at the Dead Sea.

EMMAUS/JERUSALEM
We will have an easy day to visit Emmaus and the Catholic church and see the remains of the ancient ruins. This is the traditional site dedicated to the occasion when Jesus appeared to the two disciples after His resurrection. The rest of the day at leisure for shopping or exploring the many sites in the Old City of Jerusalem. After dinner, transfer to Tel Aviv Airport to take our DL153 at 10:25pm
