A deposit of $350.00 plus Insurance (optional) $271 payable to Adriatic Pilgrimages is required per person at the time of booking, but not later than May 31, 2008. Balance is due on or before July 1, 2008. Any booking after July, 2, 2008 will be subject to availability, plus $100 late fee penalty.

COPENHAGEN/MOSCOW
Arrive Copenhagen Airport at 7:15AM and connect with SK734 departing at 10:20AM, arriving Moscow Airport at 2:50PM. Upon your arrival, you will be met at the airport by our representative for a short driving tour of the city of Moscow before checking into your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure to relax and later enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Moscow, one of the largest cities in the world, is the symbolic heart and soul of this country. Sightseeing tour begins at Red Square, dominated by St. Basil’s Cathedral and the massive red walls of the Kremlin. Inside the Kremlin, admire the medieval towers, cathedrals and palaces. Visit the Armory Museum and see Moscow University and the popular Arbat shopping district. Continue with a drive along the wide boulevards, and then stroll through GUM, Russia’s largest department store. The rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Moscow.

MOSCOW/NOVGOROD
After early breakfast, we depart Moscow for Tver, an ancient trading post nestled on the banks of the Volga River. The city offers fascinating treasures, including Putevoy Dvorets, built for Catherine II as a resting place on her journeys from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Enjoy a short sightseeing tour of this remarkable city. We end the day in historic Novgorod, founded 1150 years ago. Dinner and overnight in Novgorod.

This morning we will enjoy a tour of Novgorod. We start at the Kremlin with a visit to St. Sophia Cathedral in the Citadel. Then, cross the river via pedestrian bridge to visit Yaroslav Court. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Novgorod.

After breakfast, we travel north to St. Petersburg, the former capital of the Romanov Czars. En route, stop at Pushkin to visit Ekaterina Palace. Dinner and overnight in St. Petersburg.

ST. PETERSBURG
There are not many cities in the world that can match the grace of St. Petersburg. When Peter the Great founded the city in 1703, he hired Europe’s best architects, craftsmen and artists to built and decorate it. Spread over 100 islands that are linked by over 600 bridges, it is often referred to as “Venice of North”. In the morning, visit Peter and Paul Fortress, which houses the crypt of the Russian emperors. Next, visit St. Isaac’s Cathedral, St. Nicholas Cathedral and the famous Palace square, Alexander Nevsky Monastery (exterior only). After lunch on your own, visit the famous Hermitage Museum. Tonight, we will have a canal cruise with dinner.

After breakfast, we will have mass and morning tour of the city. In the afternoon, we take an excursion to Petrodvorets, Peter the Great’s summer palace. Return to our hotel. Tonight, we will have dinner and a folklore show at Niokolaevskiy Palace. Overnight in St. Petersburg.

After breakfast and mass, we take our comfortable train and depart St. Petersburg to Helsinki, Finland. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for rest and later dinner and overnight.

We will spend all day in Helsinki visiting the city center and the historical center, the presidential palace, the city hall, the parliament and Finlandia Hall and Opera House. We see also the Sibelius monument and Temppeliankio Church. Dinner and overnight in Helsinki.
