This morning climb up the marble-capped Acropolis and visit the famous Parthenon and Erechteum; then the nearby Mars’ Hill where the Apostle Paul delivered his well-known sermon. Later a panoramic tour of the highlights of modern Athens: The Presidential Palace, the Olympic Stadium and the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Afternoon drive over the Corinthian Canal to Corinth to visit the places associated with the ministry of St. Paul.

ATHENS/PIRAEUS/MYKONOS
Transfer to the port of Piraeus for the 3-Day Cruise to the Greek Isles and Turkey. Embarkation and sail for Mykonos. In the afternoon call at Mykonos. Arrive in the morning at Patmos, the rocky island where the Apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation. Our optional excursion ($66.00) will take us to the Monastery of St. John the Evangelist, and the Grotto of the Revelation. Sail to Kusadasi. Visit ancient Ephesus where Paul preached to the Ephesians and lived for three years. Also nearby visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where it is believed the Virgin spent her last days with the Apostle John.

This morning we depart to Pergamum, an impressive site of an ancient kingdom. Visit the Acropolis, the Temple of Athena, the famous library and the ruins of Asclepion. The largest building of the Roman period is the Red Court (Red Basilica). Then to legendary Troy, made famous by Homer’s Iliad. Visit the ruins of the nine cities built on top of each other. First, visit the Blue Mosque, the 17th century Ottoman Mosque famous for its six minarets and magnificent interior with blue tiles, and then the Hippodrome. Continue to St. Sophia, the masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM/JERICHO
We enter the Old City of Jerusalem to visit the Church of St. Anne, and follow the Stations of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We walk through the Cardo to the Western Wall. On Mount Zion, we visit the Room of the Last Supper, the House of Caiaphas and the Church of St. Peter.

We depart Jerusalem and stop in Bethany, known as the place where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. As we continue our drive through the Judean Desert, we arrive to Jericho to see the excavations and Mount of Temptation. Continue to the Dead Sea and then through the Jordan Valley to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee.

GALILEE/CAPERNAUM/MT BEATITUDES/RIVER JORDAN
Today we will explore the sites along the Sea of Galilee. Capernaum where Jesus preached in the synagogue, St. Peter’s House, Mount of Beatitudes and Tabgha, where Jesus multiplied the loaves of bread and fish; and then the baptismal site at the River Jordan. We will also enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

This morning we drive to Cana, the traditional site where Jesus performed His first public miracle. We will renew marriage vows here and then to Nazareth visiting the Church of the Annunciation, the Holy Grotto and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue to Haifa and Mt. Carmel to visit Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery and Elijah’s Cave. We drive along the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea to view the Roman Aqueduct. Then to Netanya for our dinner. Transfer to Tel Aviv Airport.
