Arrive Paris Airport at 2:00pm and connect with AF2220 departing Paris at 6:45pm. . Arrive Tel Aviv Airport at 11:10pm, where we will be welcomed to the Holy Land by our tour guide and driver. Transfer to our hotel in Jerusalem.

MT. OF OLIVES/GETHSEMANE/BETHLEHEM/EIN KAREM
We start our day with the Mount of Olives, Church of Pater Noster, down to Dominus Flevit and St. Mary Magdalene Church, Garden of Gethsemane and on to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, Holy Manger, the Basilica of St. Catherine, the Milk Grotto and then the Shepherds’ Field. On the way back to Jerusalem, we stop in Ein Karem to visit the Church of the Visitation.

JERUSALEM/OLD CITY/MOUNT ZION
Early morning transfer to the Old City to walk the Way of the Cross as a group from the first station until we enter the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit Golgotha and the empty tomb of Our Lord. Back to the hotel for breakfast and later we return back to the Old City and enter through St. Stephen’s Gate to the Pools of Bethesda, and on through the bazaars to the Cardo and the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock. On Mount Zion, we visit the Room of the Last Supper, the House of Caiaphas and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu.

BETHANY/JERICHO/JERUSALEM
We depart Jerusalem and stop in Bethany, known as the place where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. As we continue through the Judean Desert, we arrive Jericho to see the excavations and Mount of Temptation. After some leisure time, we drive back to Jerusalem. The rest of the afternoon at leisure for shopping and personal activities.

CAESAREA/HAIFA/NAZARETH/CANA
This morning, we depart Jerusalem and drive to Caesarea on the Mediterranean Sea and visit its Roman temple, royal palace, the amphitheater, public buildings and the Aqueduct. On to Haifa and Mount Carmel to visit Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery and Elijah’s Cave. On to Nazareth, visiting the Church of the Annunciation, the Holy Grotto and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue to our hotel in Tiberias, stopping en route at Cana, where Jesus performed His first public ministry.

GALILEE/CAPERNAUM/MOUNT BEATITUDES/TABGHA/RIVER JORDAN
Today we will explore the sites along the Sea of Galilee. Capernaum where Jesus preached in the synagogue, St. Peter’s House, Mount of Beatitudes and Tabgha, where Jesus multiplied the loaves of bread and fish; and the baptismal site at the River Jordan. We will also enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

TIBERIAS/MADABA/MOUNT NEBO/RIVER JORDAN
Today, we cross the bridge on the River Jordan into the Hashemite King of Jordan. Drive to Madaba, home to a beautiful 6th century mosaic map of the Holy Land. From the summit of Mt. Nebo view the “Promised Land” and then down to the newly discovered ruins of Bethany and the baptismal site. We will view the Dead Sea before we continue to our hotel.

PETRA/AQABA
A most unforgettable day in Petra! Our visit of the “rose-red” city begins at the “Siq”, a winding canyon road. At the end of the passage, we will see Petra’s most beautiful monument – The Treasury. We will see and discover tombs, temples, water channels and a theater. In the afternoon, we return to our bus and drive towards to the winter resort town of Aqaba, on the Red Sea.

This morning we will relax and enjoy the warm weather in Aqaba on the Red Sea. Then early afternoon we take our ferry boat and cross to the Egyptian side of the Red Sea where our tour escort from Cairo will meet us and welcome us to Egypt. Transfer to our lodging near St. Catherine Monastery.

MOUNT SINAI/ST. CATHERINE’SMONASTERY/CAIRO
A wake-up call at 2:00am for those who wish to make the four-hour climb to the top of Mount Sinai, which is believed to be the location where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Down to St. Catherine’s Monastery, built in the sixth century to protect what was believed to be the Burning Bush. Back to the hotel to refresh before we take the bus across Sinai Peninsula and by the Suez Canal to Cairo.

OLD CAIRO/CITADEL/CHURCHES
This morning we visit the famous Citadel of Saladdin, Mohammed Ali Mosque and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Then to Old Cairo, visiting the Hanging Church and Abu Serga Church and later the Church of St. Mary in Zeitoun where many people witnessed the miraculous apparition of the Blessed Mother.

We drive this morning to Alexandria, the bridge of the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the Greek Roman Museum, Catacombs, Pompeii Pillar and Montaza Palace. Afternoon return to Cairo.

Today we visit the Egyptian Museum with Tutankhamen’s fabulous treasures. Then leave to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Afternoon at leisure to prepare ourselves for a farewell dinner on the Nile River cruise with entertainment.
