Non-US Citizens require visas to all the countries covered in this program. US Citizens require visas to Egypt (issued upon arrival with a fee)

All prices quoted in this flyer are based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect January 2007 and on group rates of 32 passengers or more. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.
Please complete the booking form with full names as they appear on passports, and mail it to us with your deposit of $350 per person plus insurance $271 (optional). Depart Atlanta on our Delta Airlines flight to New York and then to Cairo.

ARRIVE CAIRO/PYRAMIDS/SPHINX

Arrive Cairo Airport in the morning where we will be welcomed to Egypt by our representative. We will celebrate Holy Mass and later we will visit the Pyramids and Sphinx. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

OLD CAIRO/CHURCHES

Today, we explore Cairo, visiting the famous Citadel of Saladdin, Mohammed Ali Mosque and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Then to Old Cairo, visiting the Hanging Church, the Coptic Museum and Abu Serga Church. Later, visit the Church of St. Mary in Zeitoun, where many people witnessed the miraculous apparition of the Blessed Mother. We conclude the day with a walk through the famous Cairo Bazaars. During the day, we will celebrate Holy Mass at St. Mary’s Church.

CAIRO/EGYPTIAN MUSEUM

This morning, we start with the Egyptian Museum with Tutankhamen’s fabulous treasures. Then leave for ancient Memphis to admire the 40-foot statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx. On to Sakkara’s Step Pyramid. On the way back to our hotel, we stop at the Convent of the Sisters of St. Vincent de Paul for Holy Mass. We drive to Sadat Memorial for pictures and back to our hotel to get ready for the dinner on the Nile River Cruise with entertainment.

CAIRO/SINAI

Today, after Holy Mass at the hotel, then breakfast and some time at leisure, we depart Cairo and drive through the desert landscapes of the Sinai Peninsula with stops at some oasis, the well of Moses, with evening arrival at our lodging near St. Catherine Monastery.

MT SINAI/ST. CATHERINE/RED SEA/AQABA/PETRA

A wake-up call at 2:00am for those who wish to make the four-hour climb to the top of Mount Sinai. We walk down to the famous St. Catherine’s Monastery, built in the sixth century to protect what was believed to be the Burning Bush. We drive to Nuweiba to take our ferry boat across the Red Sea to Aqaba, Jordan. We continue by bus to Petra.

PETRA/AMMAN

A most unforgettable day in Petra! Our visit of the “rose red” city begins at the “Siq”, a winding canyon road. At the end of the passage, we will see Petra’s most beautiful monument – The Treasury. We will discover temples, royal tombs, a theater and a water channel. In the afternoon, we drive to our hotel in Amman and we will celebrate Holy Mass depending on the time of arrival.

AMMAN/MADABA/MOUNT NEBO/RIVER JORDAN/TIBERIAS

Drive to Madaba and visit the Church, home to a beautiful 6th century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Then from the summit of Mt. Nebo, we view the “Promised Land” and the Dead Sea and later down to the River Jordan to see the newly discovered ruins of Bethany and the baptismal site. Continue to the border crossing on the River Jordan. Arrive Tiberias in the evening.

SEA OF GALILEE/CAPERNAUMMOUNT BEATITUDES/TABGHA/RIVER JORDAN/MOUNT TABOR

Today we explore the sites along the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum where Jesus preached in the synagogue, St. Peter’s House, Mount of Beatitudes, and then to Tabgha, where Jesus multiplied the loaves of bread and fish; and the baptismal site at the River Jordan and a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Later, we drive to the top of Mount Tabor, the traditional site of Jesus’ transfiguration. We celebrate Holy Mass in the Catholic Church before returning to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

CANA/NAZARETH/HAIFA/MOUNT CARMEL/CAESAREA/JERUSALEM

This morning we visit Cana, the traditional site where Jesus performed His first public miracle. After Holy Mass, we depart to Nazareth, visiting the Church of the Annunciation, the Holy Grotto and the Church of St. Joseph. On to Haifa and Mount Carmel to visit Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery and Elijah’s Cave. We drive by the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea with its Roman temple, aqueduct, royal palace, the amphitheater and public buildings. Continue to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight at our hotel.

MT. OF OLIVES/GETHSEMANE/BETHLEHEM/EIN KAREM

We start our day with the Mount of Olives, Church of Pater Noster, down to Dominus Flevit and St. Mary Magdalene Church, Garden of Gethsemane and on to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, Holy Manger, and the Basilica of St. Catherine, where we celebrate Holy Mass, the Milk Grotto and then the Shepherds’ Field. Time at leisure in Bethlehem for shopping and religious activities. On the way back to Jerusalem, we stop in Ein Karem and visit of the Church of the Visitation. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Jerusalem.

JERUSALEM/OLD CITY/ BETHANY/JERICHO

This morning we walk through the Cardo to the Wailing Wall and Dome of the Rock. On to Mount Zion, visit the Room of the Last Supper, House of Caiaphas and Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu where we will celebrate Holy Mass.
In Bethany, we visit the traditional site of the House of Mary and Martha and Lazarus’ Tomb. Continue to Jericho to see the excavations, Mount of Temptation and the Sycamore tree. Time to go to the Dead Sea and experience floating before we return back to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

JERUSALEM

This morning we enter the Old City of Jerusalem through St. Stephen’s Gate to visit the Church of St. Anne, the Pools of Bethesda and follow the Stations of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit Golgotha and the empty tomb of Our Lord. The tour guide will arrange Holy Mass at one of the churches in Jerusalem. The rest of the day is at leisure and shopping. After dinner, transfer to the airport to take our Delta Airlines flight to Atlanta.

Arrive Atlanta at 5:40am. Connect with Delta Airlines departing at 9:55am. Arrive Honolulu at 2:30pm.
