DEPOSIT AND BOOKING
A deposit of $350.00 plus $185 Insurance (optional) payable to Adriatic Pilgrimages is required per person at the time of booking, but not later than May 8, 2009. Balance is due on or before July 10, 2009. Any bookings after July 11, 2009 is subject to availability and full payment is required, plus late fee penalty will apply.

All prices quoted in this flyer are based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect February 2009 and on group rates of 32-42 passengers. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.
Please complete the booking form with full names as they appear on passports, and mail it to us with your deposit of $350.00 plus $271 (optional) Insurance. Receipt of your deposit shall act as your agreement to the terms and conditions herewith. Balance is due 90 days before departure date. If you cancel, the following cancellation charges will apply:

* 119-91 days before departure $250 pp;
* 90-61 days prior to departure date $1,000 pp;
* 60-31 days prior to departure date $1,500 pp;
* 30-1 day prior to departure date or no show – No Refund

PARIS/TOULOUSE/LOURDES
Arrive Paris airport at 11:00 where we connect with our Air France flight to the city of Toulouse. Upon arrival at Toulouse airport, we will be welcomed by our tour escort and transfer to our hotel in Lourdes for rest and later dinner. After dinner join pilgrims from around the world in the nightly rosary and candlelight procession.

LOURDES
During our stay in Lourdes, we will visit the historical and spiritual sites associated with Bernadette, the visionary child of Lourdes. We will walk around the Shrine and the Basilica of St. Pius X, the world’s largest underground church. We visit Boly Mill, the Soubirous family home and the Basilica of the Rosa. We will have a bath with the healing water and walk the Way of the Cross. After dinner, we will join pilgrims from around the world in the nightly candlelight and rosary procession.

LOURDES/ROCAMADOUR
This morning we say good bye to Our Lady of Lourdes and take our motor coach and drive to Rocamadour. The Shrine of Our Lady of Rocamadour, near Toulouse in southern France is one of Christendom’s earliest shrines which in the Middle Ages claimed equal importance with the holy places of Rome and Palestine. Also known as the second most famous natural and historical site in France. Built against the side of a cliff, the sacred city is a spectacular site and offers breathtaking views of the valley below. Visit the Holy Redeemer Basilica, Our Lady’s Chapel (pilgrimage chapel), the Black Madonna statue and the museum.

ROCAMADOUR/ARS/LA SALETTE
We continue our drive in France and stop in Ars to visit the Basilica where the incorrupt body of St. John Vianney lies. Continue to the Marian Shrine of “Our Lady of La Salette”, where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared, crying, to the children Melanie and Maximin in 1846 because “Sundays and the holy name of Jesus are profaned.” The shrine of La Salette is located in high alpine pasture at an altitude of about 6,000 feet. The mountain scenery around the shrine is spectacular and offers the pilgrim an excellent setting for contemplative prayer.

LA SALETTE/PARAY-LE-MONIAL/NEVERS
This morning, we drive to Paray-Le-Monial, home to the devotion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Visit the Chapel of the Visitation where Jesus exposed His Sacred Heart to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque during a number of apparitions.

NEVERS
We drive this morning to Nevers to see the places associated with St. Bernadette. On the St. Gildard convent grounds lies the chapel containing the incorrupt body of St. Bernadette. See the museum with historical documents, the convent grounds and the statue of Our Lady of Waters, Bernadette’s favorite statue and replica of Lourdes Grotto.

NEVERS/CHARTRES/LISIEUX
Depart to Chartres. The magnificent 13th century cathedral lies in the medieval-looking town of Chartres, home of the veil worn by the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Cathedral has been a place for pilgrimage for more than a thousand years. Then drive to Lisieux, to visit the places associated with St. Therese of Lisieux, the family home (Les Buissonets), the Carmelite Convent and the Basilica. Return to Lisieux for dinner and overnight.

LISIEUX/LE MONT ST MICHEL/LISIEUX/
This morning we drive to Mont St Michel with its picturesque streets and abbey. Mont Saint Michel is a shrine representing some of the Catholicism’s greatest artistic achievements. We will have a guided tour of the abbey and the museum and free time to explore the place on our own before returning back to our hotel in Lisieux.

LISIEUX/PARIS
After breakfast we depart to Paris with visits of the Miraculous Medal chapel on Rue Du Bac, containing the incorrupt body of St. Catherine Laboure. Next we visit St. Vincent de Paul Chapel with the saint’s incorrupt body, and visit St. Sulpice Church and Notre Dame Cathedral and the Sainte Chapelle. We will drive through the Champs Elysees and stop at the Eiffel Tower for pictures. Then we visit the Basilica or Cathedral of St. Denis in Paris. This church was an abbey church several centuries before it became a Cathedral. The church is commemorated to Saint Denis, the first Bishop of Paris, who was beheaded at Montmartre. Many kings chose to be buried at this spot and by the 8th century the Carolingian kings were choosing this abbey church for both coronation and burial. We visit the outside and the beautiful inside of the Basilica and have a mass or prayer at this sacred place.
