Day 2, Moscow, Vladimir, and Suzdal, Thursday
The Golden Ring is a ring of cities northeast of Moscow. These ancient towns played a significant role in the formation of the Russian Orthodox Church and today preserve the memory about the most important events in Russian history. After breakfast, depart for Vladimir, one of the oldest Russian towns founded in the 12th century. Your city tour will include the Golden Gate, Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral of St. Demetrius, Church of the Intercession on the Nerl River and Bogolyubsky Monastery in the nearby village of Bogolyubovo. Continue to Suzdal, arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 3, Suzdal, Friday
Suzdal, first mentioned in 1024, is considered to be one of the oldest and best preserved Russian towns. Your city tour of this unique museum-town of wooden architecture will include Kremlin, the sublime Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady, Cross-Vaulted Chamber, Spaso-Yevfimiev Monastery, Wooden Architecture Museum and Pokrovsky Convent. The rest of the day is at leisure.
